Privacy Policy
We will never ever sell or disclose your personal information (or any data about you or your usage of this service) unless compelled to by law.
We will not add you to a mailing list without first asking for your active approval. We will not employ any “dark patterns” around default checkboxes or the like.
We store your email address and password in our database for authentication purposes. Your password is encrypted using bcrypt.
We use Stripe for payments, storing authenticated tokens in our database that are used to charge your card. We don’t store (or, if you have Javascript enabled, even see) your credit card details.
Terms of Service
This service is provided without any warranty of any kind, implied or otherwise. We take no responsibility whatsoever for any impact on you, your business (or any other entity) of any activity (or lack of activity) that we undertake.
If, as a customer, you have any problems at all with the service, we’d be very happy to give you a refund. You can cancel the service at any time.
Ethics
We aim to operate as a fair, constructive and transparent company. Our pricing is designed to allow us to pay our testers a fair, living wage for their work as trained professionals.
Accessibility
Sapien CI works:
- on all screen sizes
- with or without Javascript
- without any third-party cookies
The first page you load (including all assets and images) will be under 500KB. Subsequent page loads will typically need to fetch < 10KB.
We test on the last two versions of major browsers. On older or less common browsers the layout may be a little wonky but the functionality will still work.
Cookies
We use a session cookie to keep you logged in to our secure Dashboard and to maintain a CSRF token. We include Javascript libraries from Mixpanel and Stripe that both use cookies. We host behind Cloudflare, which adds its own cookie.
We think the EU Cookie Law is an ass so we deliberately don’t put one of those pointless “We’re using cookies” banners on our site. Websites don’t store cookies – browsers do!
